Leonardo da Vinci was a vegetarian and animal rights activist, he would buy caged birds and set them free.... Maybe thats what inspired him to invent flying machines.

LAST DAY TO SUBMIT - JUNE 1
With promises of summertime travels and cotton candy sunsets teasing their way into our daily routines, we bask in the inspiring consistency of summer’s joyous certainty.
So as the light from each passing day swirls its way into June’s drawn out daylight, and the blossoms expand from seed to sapling,
we say this….
LAST DAY TO SUBMIT FOR THE NEXT ISSUE - JUNE 1ST
“ SWIRLING SEEDS OF LIGHT.”
And we leave you with this…
Thank you, month of June, for the burst of luminous inspiration, you really are grand. But we must confess- nothing, not even the lure of the solstice sun, beats peering through OPALUS submissions.
Wow, lucky us.

Michael Kors designed a wedding dress for his mother on her second wedding when he was just 5 years old, let that be an inspiration that YOU can do anything!!!
body TRAKS
Choreographer Tony Olivares, Artistic Director of TOD (Tony Olivares Dance) has created the first all Male Dance company in Edmonton, Canada, in hopes it will give the male movers of Edmonton more work opportunities, keep our great talent within the city and, of course, to inspire us all!
Dancing all his life, and beginning his formal training in 1991, Tony is excited to bring us a truly original dance production, a raw show he choreographed, entitled "body TRACKS"!
Haunting the stage with the sounds of his cello, Martin Johan Kloppers, accompanies the dancers as they move ... through paint!
We ask Tony what inspired body-TRAKS...
“Through out our daily activities in this planet there are so many human tracks we left behind and sometimes we dont see them simple as when we walk, fall, drag, or die. We always leave invisible tracks. So the paint medium in this piece will help to bring those tracks alive.
”
A huge thank you to photographer, Marc J Chalifoux, for this imagery that is leaving us in great suspense until the show tonight!
