The bohemian staple gets a LUXX treatment
Fringe is hitting the runways globally, with force. Designers are trotting these Gatsby gal looks across the nation, and September 24th showing at Western Canadian Fashion Week by local heavy hitter LUXX, showcased a ready to wear collection with its own take on the tasseled trend.
While this look has all the traps and trimmings of the bohemian beauty and the Coachella enthusiast, LUXX’s Strength of our Nations Collection spiced up this look with an elegance that took these designs to a whole new level of chic. Truly.
To add an even more alluring quotient, designer Derek Jagodzinsky provided the main colors and patterns to his pieces by pulling inspiration and admiration from the Aboriginal culture, most prominently the women in this community. The result was a grounding sophistication and dramatic beauty that added an intense feel to the overall theme of the collection and a passionate realism to the dynamic of whole room. Talk about powerful!
This collection is bound for international praise; its alluring on trend look is rooted in historical significance and bound with a cascading elegance. We were left wide eyed and fulfilled.
WOW, LUXX you have truly outdone yourself.

The food is delicious and the décor –WOW! Art oozes form every corner of this place, wrapping the traditional Mexican inspired theme with a tough graffiti beauty that makes even the non-art lover gawk at the strength and coolness of it all.

Striking feminine silhouettes with a girlish flair are to be expected when it comes to the runway styling of SUKA’s ready to wear collections, yet last night’s showing at Western Canadian Fashion Week presented us with a chic edgy vibe that was truly awe-inspiring.
Black and white staples were the driving force behind the ‘Gothletics’ procession, mixing edgy street style with sleek sophistication, and topping it off with a charming throwback to retro sports attire (hello knee socks!) Combine all of these elements with a touch of sultry elegance and we have ourselves Alisha Schick’s newest line.
If we’ve learnt one thing from last night’s show, it’s that SUKA Clothing is continuing to make big waves in the fashion community – and we cannot wait to get ourselves into one of those outfits!
